MyONE Condoms Review: Are Custom-Fit Condoms Worth It?
MyONE condoms are worth it if standard condoms regularly feel too tight, too loose, or too short for you: the brand sells custom fit condoms in 10 widths, each with 3 lengths, so you can match the condom to your measurements instead of guessing between “regular” and “large.” Below we explain how the MyONE size chart works, how to measure, and when an off-the-shelf snug or large condom will do the job just as well.
How we chose: we compared current Amazon listings for MyONE Custom Fit and the most common snug and large alternatives on material, fit and size range.

What are MyONE condoms?
MyONE (sold as MyONE Custom Fit, and closely related to the earlier ONE brand) makes latex condoms in a much wider range of sizes than mainstream brands. Where Trojan, Durex and SKYN usually offer snug, regular and large, MyONE offers 10 width options, each available in 3 lengths, according to the listing. That adds up to dozens of possible combinations.
Based on the listings, the condoms are:
- Made with what MyONE calls Sensatex latex, described as softer latex.
- Hyperthin and extra lubricated, with a premium silicone lubricant.
- Triple tested for safety, per the brand.
- Labeled nontoxic, vegan and non-GMO.
- Sold in 12-count and 36-count packs, plus samplers.
Because they are latex, they help reduce the risk of pregnancy and many STIs when used correctly, but they are not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy.
How the MyONE condoms size chart works
Every MyONE size has a two-part code, such as 49E or 60H:
- The number is the width code. Lower numbers are snugger, higher numbers are wider. The listings we compared include snug codes 45, 47 and 49, and larger codes 57, 60, 64 and 69, with middle widths in between for regular fits.
- The letter is the length code. Each width comes in 3 lengths. The listings we compared show, for example, E at 5.6 inches, G at 6.5 inches, H at 7 inches, J at 7.5 inches and K at 8 inches.
So 60H means an extra-wide width with a 7 inch length, and 64J means a super-wide width with a 7.5 inch length. Width (girth) matters most for comfort and for stopping slips; length matters mainly so the condom fully covers the shaft. MyONE notes that the condom should be slightly longer than your length to ensure full coverage.
How to measure for custom fit condoms
MyONE gives two options on its listings:
- Use the FitKit. The listing links to a printable measuring tool in the product documents. Follow its instructions and match the result to a width code.
- Use a strip of paper and a ruler. When erect, wrap a strip of paper around the widest part of the shaft and mark where it overlaps. Measure that length in millimeters to get your girth, then match it to the width codes on the chart. Measure length along the top of the shaft from the base to the tip, then choose the closest length letter.
A few practical tips: measure more than once, on different days, and if you fall between two widths, the snugger one usually stays on better, while the wider one is usually more comfortable. Our general condom size guide explains girth and length in more detail.
Are custom fit condoms worth it?
For many people, yes. A condom that fits properly is more comfortable, feels less like a barrier, and is less likely to slip off or break. Our guides on what to do if a condom slipped off and why condoms break both come back to fit as a common cause.
MyONE makes most sense if:
- Regular condoms feel tight, but Magnum-style large condoms feel baggy.
- Regular condoms slip or wrinkle, and you have not found a snug condom you like.
- You need extra length without much extra width, or the reverse.
- You are clearly larger or smaller than standard sizes in either direction.
You may not need it if: a standard regular condom already feels fine. In that case, a thin regular condom such as Trojan Ultra Thin is simpler to buy in any pharmacy. If you just need more room, compare our Durex XXL review and Magnum before committing to custom sizing.
MyONE downsides to know
- Measuring is a step. Some people find it awkward, but it takes a few minutes and you only need to do it once or twice.
- Size codes are separate listings. Double-check the code on the listing title before ordering, since a wrong code defeats the purpose.
- Latex only. MyONE Custom Fit is latex. If you need non-latex, choose SKYN, which offers snug, regular and large sizes.
- Lube choice. As with all latex condoms, use water-based or silicone-based lube only; oil-based products can weaken latex.
FAQ
Are MyONE condoms safe?
MyONE says its condoms are triple tested, and condoms sold as contraceptives in the US are regulated medical devices. As with any condom, check the expiration date and use one correctly every time.
What size MyONE condom should I get?
Measure your erect girth and length, then match girth to a width code and length to the closest length letter. If you are unsure, start with a sampler pack for your width range.
Are MyONE and ONE condoms the same?
They come from the same family of brands. MyONE Custom Fit is the custom-sized line; ONE also sells regular-sized condoms in a range of styles.
Do custom fit condoms feel better?
Many people find a better fit feels thinner and more natural, simply because there is less excess material or pressure. It is a personal preference, so a sampler is a good way to find out.
